Clothing: Neutral colors with long sleeves in a non-patterned style will bring your attention to the subjects face.  Group photos should have complementary colors.

Glasses: If possible borrow an empty frame from you optometrist which will eliminate the problem of glass glare which is very costly to remove.  Photo-gray glasses should never be used.

Make-up: Avoid shiny skin.  Women always use a powder base with a normal amount of make-up.  Use of mascara to accent the eyes and lipstick to bring out you smile.  Men should have a fresh shave.  Never try a new hair style or make-up the day of your photo session.

What should I bring?: Formal, casual clothes from hats to shoes.  Your own props from a hobby, sports equipment, vehicles, animals, and whatever you can think of to personalize your session.  Don't forget to bring your smile and have fun.
